There is something about the middle of the year that makes you pause. Maybe it is the slower pace of winter, the realisation that time is passing quickly, or the quiet nudge that some of your goals from January haven’t seen the light of day since February.
But the truth is, you don’t need a full reinvention. You need a reset that fits your life. One that clears the mental clutter, nourishes your body, and helps you feel good in your skin again. A mid-year glow up is not about perfection. It is about checking in with yourself and choosing alignment over hustle.
Explore our collection of award-winning planners and journals that encourage leadership, goal-kicking, passion and motivation, with elegant designs that can be personalised.

And it starts with your mind.
Mind and focus
So much of how we show up begins in our internal world. When your thoughts are clearer, your days are calmer. When you give yourself time to reflect and reset, you move through your day with more ease. Here is how to start reconnecting with your focus:
Mind and Focus Checklist
1. Journal over coffee, phone on silent
Starting your day with intention – away from digital noise – helps you centre your thoughts and lower stress before the day begins… and a good coffee always helps!
2. Revisit your goals and values
Do you even remember the goals you set yourself earlier in the year? Look back at your original intentions to realign your focus and remind yourself of what truly matters to you.
3. Release goals that no longer serve you
Some things (like what truly matters to you) don’t change – but some things do. Letting go of old goals that no longer excite you frees you of unnecessary pressure or guilt.
4. Recommit to what still excites you
Reconnecting with your passions reignites motivation and brings a sense of purpose back into your daily rhythm. Use this to keep reaching your goals for the rest of the year.
5. Schedule time for self-care
Sporadically booking a massage, workout or catchup with friends when you finally reach burnout point isn’t cutting it anymore. When self-care becomes a non-negotiable part of your calendar, you’re more likely to actually follow through with appointments and moments of rest – and feel the benefits, so that you can continue being your high-performing self.
6. Write one thing you are grateful for daily
This isn’t just a “nice-to-do” – practising gratitude regularly actually shifts your mindset to notice the good things in life, even on difficult days.
Tools matter. The Mind By Design collection was created to support these kinds of habits. It is not just stationery. Each piece is thoughtfully structured to help you manage mental clutter, reconnect with your values, and reflect on what truly matters. Think of it as a quiet coach in notebook form, helping you build small, sustainable habits that support clarity and focus.
Body and health
Now that your mind has space to breathe, your body needs to feel supported too. This is not about rigid routines or pressure to be productive. It is about giving your body what it needs to move, recover, and stay energised; especially in a season that can easily wear you down.
Body and Health Checklist
1. Enjoy morning sunshine
Ideally, this is one of the first things you should do after waking. Morning sunlight helps regulate your sleep-wake cycle (circadian rhythm) and gives your mood a natural boost – what a great start to the day!
2. Hydrate before coffee
This one can be a little hard to wrap your head around – especially if you love a coffee first thing – but can be as simple as drinking a big glass of water immediately after waking. Extra points if you hydrate and eat breakfast first before then enjoying your coffee over a short journalling session.
3. Drink 2.5 to 3 litres of water daily
Most of us are not drinking enough water. Staying hydrated supports energy, focus, digestion and skin health – everything you need to feel your best… and it’s free!
4. Make it fun and nutritious with Super Splasí
If plain water does not excite you, there is a solution. Super Splasí was made for days when you want your hydration to actually feel good. With 18 naturally derived vitamins and minerals, plus prebiotics and probiotics, it is a simple daily upgrade for your gut, energy and glow.
5. Get up from sitting and move every hour
There’s only so long you can sit staring at your computer. Gentle movement throughout the day boosts circulation, reduces stiffness, and helps prevent fatigue. So jump up, make a tea and do a few stretches while you wait for the kettle to boil.
6. Do 30 minutes of exercise you enjoy daily
Gone are the days of gruelling gym sessions or early morning jogs (if that’s not your thing). Consistent movement that you actually love builds strength, reduces stress and lifts your mood, so get out there and try a new physical activity.
“One small reset at a time”
This glow up does not have to mean dramatic changes all at once. You do not need to uproot your life or overhaul your schedule. You just need a few consistent tools and habits to support the version of you that feels balanced, clear and fully present in your day.
So take the morning to journal. Sip something nourishing. Choose one new habit from each checklist to focus on and let them carry you into the second half of the year with intention. You do not have to do it all, just start with what feels right today.
Because this is the glow up you deserve!
